4 and 5 year olds- Pre-Kindergarten Currriculum

Our Pre-K Classroom starts every day with a Morning Meeting for review and new concepts to be introduced.  

Many times, the terms preschool and pre-kindergarten or pre-k are often used interchangeably. Despite their use, the two programs are substantially different from both a curriculum perspective and teacher qualifications. 

Pre-K is associated with programs that are specifically designed to prepare 4- to 5-year-olds with the education and skills necessary to be successful in a Kindergarten program.

Since preschool is associated with play-based education and Pre-K with academics, each provides substantially different services for the child. If you are seeking a program that has a direct correlation between it and the K-12 school system, then Pre-K is for you.  Finally, Pre-K classes prepare children for the structure and schedule that they will be subjected to in Kindergarten. This is of tremendous benefit to the student as they start the year with an advantage over those children who did not attend a Pre-K program.
